DESCRIPTION

Oil & Grease Remover is a neutral formulation consisting of active cleaning agents and emulsifying solvents. It effectively penetrates and dissolves grease, oil, and tough grime, creating a water-soluble mixture that can be rinsed away with water.

APPLICATION

Oil & Grease Remover is suitable for cleaning metal, parts, tools, and both painted and unpainted surfaces, as well as decks, bulkheads, machinery, engines, bilges, floor plates, and other areas where grease, oil, and grime accumulate.

USE AND DOSING

Oil & Grease Remover can be applied undiluted by brushing, wiping, or spraying. After 10-20 minutes, rinse off using fresh or salt water. If hose rinsing is not feasible, apply rinse water with a sponge. Be sure to rinse thoroughly to prevent streaking. For use in solvent pans or for cleaning parts and tools in tanks, it can be applied neat or diluted with kerosene or another appropriate petroleum solvent, depending on the level of contamination. Soak parts until the grime loosens, then rinse with water or wipe with a clean cloth.

This product is used to clean deck plates, tank tops, machinery, bilges, and for general deck and engine room upkeep. When cleaning oil tanks, apply Oil & Grease Remover full strength, allowing it to soak before rinsing with fresh or salt water. It is also suitable for steam cleaning grease and oil.

Additionally, Oil & Grease Remover can be circulated neat for cleaning equipment like lube oil heat exchangers, fuel oil preheaters, and filters.
