DESCRIPTION

Quick Break Degreaser is a high-performance solvent emulsifying detergent designed for general engine room degreasing and cleaning of bilges, tank tops, and decks. Its unique formulation of surfactants, wetting agents, and solvents provides exceptional cleaning power, breaks down quickly, and does not interfere with the functioning of oily water separators, in compliance with MARPOL regulations.


APPLICATION

Quick Break Degreaser is primarily used for cleaning engine rooms, tank tops, bilges, and decks. It can also be employed for general cleaning where slops will be processed through oily water separators.


USE AND DOSING

Quick Break Degreaser is applied undiluted using a brush, spray, immersion, soaking, or any other standard method. Allow the product to act on the soil for 30 to 60 minutes, where possible, to ensure thorough penetration. Afterward, rinse thoroughly with hot water and, if available, a high-pressure water jet.

If the spent cleaning solution is intended to pass through an oily water separator, ensure the concentration stays within the limits recommended by the separator manufacturer. Whenever possible, allow time for settling and separation of wastewater and oil, which will optimize the performance of the separator.
